How We Survive

We are funded primarily by foundation grants, t-shirt sales and individual tax deductible donations. Our budget is small and foundations who support our street outreach efforts are few. We depend on the support from our local community to keep our organization strong. Please support AHRC and make your tax deductible contribution today.

With your donation, we will  keep you updated about legislative measures that will make our program stronger and safer, update you on our progress and developments, and let you know ways you can help.

Your contribution goes a long way.  Please give at whatever level you are able, and remember, the Austin Harm Reduction Coalition is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, so your donation is fully tax deductible.

Wish List: A NEW VAN!

The AHRC is in desperate need of a new outreach van. Our current van is lovely, and we coddle and baby her. But she's over 15 years old, and just running out of gas, so to speak.

We are on the hunt for a new(er) van. We need a 20ft or so step van (looks like a FedEx truck). Used is fine. Something we can customize to our needs. If you know of one, anywhere, please, let us know!

Our Thanks

To the corporations and foundations that support us, including Planet K, The Austin Chronicle, Friends of the Forest Foundation, Methadone and Recovery Services,
East Side Show Room, Oat Willie's Campaign Headquarters, the AIDS Walk,
The National AIDS Fund, and The Comer Foundation.

Our Heroes

All of the men and women who continue to use sterile syringes as they live with addiction, and all of the men and women who are there to supply clean needles in the face of criminal penalties.
